Description

Position Purpose :

Strategize and implement sales plan (upto >12 months). Achieve Dairy sales goals. Plan, manage and develop Sales team to achieve current and future business sales plans.

Principal Accountabilities :

  • Achievement of short and long term sales goals. Owns (accountable) and drives the Dairy sales numbers. Define geographical territories / areas for sales distribution.Analyse and leverage market feedback for future sales plans. Provides market related information including pricing / competitor actions to the BDM / Commercial Director

  • Set Annual/Quarterly/monthly performance standards/goals for the team. Develop and maintain performance culture by reinforcing reward/recognition programs aligned to current and future goals

  • Ensures that the dairy teams continuously build and develop integrated relationships with key customers. Organize Annual Dairy Dealers Meet. Drive and implement people development plan for achieving short and long terms sales goals

  • Provide quarterly accurate rolling sales forecast / plan to operations team by every month for effective and timely production/operations support. Anticipates challenges / headwinds in advance and discusses with BDM on how to address. Design and ensure implementation of sales promotional strategies

Qualifications

Education :

  • Graduate. Desirable to be PG in Marketing / Sales management

Experience :

  • 5-10 years sales experience Industry/technical knowledge

Technical Skills :

  • Industry knowledge, Strategic outlook, decision making, people management

  • Communication, leading and influencing changes.

  • Gurmukhi (Punjabi) proficient . Knowledge of English preferred

  • Innovation, ability to network internally and externally
