Position Purpose & Summary
This position is responsible for leading and executing R&D trails at the CQN Technical Application Center (TAC) in Andhra Pradesh, India. This position leads the farm and ensures that the equipment is maintained properly, data is collected and submitted timely, and that the TAC facility is tidy and is being maintained as per the safety standards at all times.
Delivery and practical excecution of trials 35 %
Lead the farm team to ensure ponds and equipment is properly prepared for trials. Focus on hygeine and tidiness at the site is essential.
Together with the Regional TAC-Manager plan and lead excecution of trial pipeline according to timeline
Lead the farm team to ensure ponds and equipment is cleaned and maintained in-between trials
Ensure safety at the TAC for staff and visitors
Collection of data and entering of raw data into agreed database 35 %
Lead the collection of data after end of each trial as specified in the trial protocol. This will include measurements of basic variabels (e.g. weight, length, visuals) and collection of samples for more analyses of more advanced variables that will be send to external laboratories for analyses.
Be responsible for quality checking of raw data, and entering of raw data into database (as instructed by regional TAC manager)
Lead the Team 20 %
Lead the on-farm team to be a high performing team with focus on safety, timely delivery and high quality work.
Attend customer events and support as needed with customized materials / compelling value proposition message
Communications 10 %
- Ensure clear and regular communications with Regional TAC manager, and rest of the SMT team
Education, Experience, Skills
Minimum Bachelor in Aquaculture, Veterinary or related area in Life Sciences.
Pratical experience with aquaculture farm work
Independent personality and good leadership skills
High sense of responsibility (timely and careful work)
Effective communication skills, English fluency
Able to do farm work (Practical) and basic analytical as well as computer skills
Masters can be a plus for the candidate.
Practical experience preferably R&D farm work (5-10 years preferred)
Some analytical and data handeling experience will be a plus.
