Description

This position require a good cash management, in order to ensure the correct handle of bank accounts.

Considering daily incomes and expenses,trying to keep a good communication with all departments that are involve in Cash process. The main goal of this position is ensure a correct application of cash in banking accounts.

Principal Accountabilities

15% Aplication of Accounting Policies and procedures of all Business Units, in order to comply with cash management effecient from Cargill.

Be responsible to comply with all policies.

30% Review and Follow up: Prepare and complete the cash flow considerating this results in order to inform to treasury department the cash needs or excess

20% Follow up: Calculate Cash Flow and follow up all differents topics according to bank movements, payroll requirements, etc

15% Controls: Provide information required to BU, Banks and audits. When is necessary

10% Internal Control Prepare and complete a daily control according to Bank movements, accounting movements. Working as a team with supervisors and coordinators in order to participate and create internal controls procedures. With the purpose to ensure safety and procedures efficiency.

10% Improve: Participate in process improvements. May serve as backup for critical tasks for other members

Review bank coverage

Review payments canceled or rejected

Import payments, apply founds transfers

Inform to treasury all referent to currency sales or currency needs to buy.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Technical or associate degree, or about to conclude a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. (related fields)

  • Between 1 to 2 years experience in Cash Position, treasury in Shared Services Center.

  • English Level A1/A2

  • Knowledge of SAP / JD Edwards

  • Demostrated strong analytical, and problem solving skills

  • Working under pressure and handle situations

  • Meet targets

  • Works well independently and as a group

  • Handle time

  • Experience working in a Shared Service (accounting).

  • Proactive person

  • Work with other countries

  • Demostrated commitment to internal control

  • Multi currency accounting
