Position Purpose:

Position is responsible for the management of the PRTP - Procure to Pay (PRTP) teams within Financial Accounting of Thailand. The Procure to Pay processes covers Maintain PTP data, Process Vendor Invoices, Process payments, Perform period end activities, Provide Supplier Support Services, Perform T&E Administration and Reimbursements and related processes. The PRTP Function Leader leads and coordinates activities of team members engaged in these processes and sub-processes.

The responsibilities include efficiently and effectively lead delivery of the PRTP function for the BUs with the scope, KPIs, SLAs, lead and motivate the teams, timely submissions of the reports, ensure continuous improvement of processes, and absorbing new work from BUs into operations in order to deliver high quality/low cost services to BUs. This position will be integral part of building the site’s Finance operations team, supporting and developing staff. This role will require an influence, a commitment to the change effort of shared service. This role will be highly collaborative with others across the globe in Finance and other functions to ensure key learning and best practices.

Additionally, together with FA &R lead, leads and coordinates activities of team members engaged in these processes. Specific areas of responsibility include: Leads and provides strategic planning and direction utilizing the Finance business plans, oversees decision-making, problem solving and employee relations issues, report analysis, career development, performance management, and communication. Ultimately responsible for maintenance of the ERP database and payments to Cargill’s suppliers including entry of invoices, support to BUs on payables questions and support to suppliers on payments received. Acts as a liaison between Th Financial Accounting team, BUs/Functions and other ad hoc groups. Additional responsibilities include Project Management.


Principal Accountabilities:

Financial Operations (50%):

  • Leads the team to complete PRTP accounting activities with scopes as mention above

  • Together with FA Tower lead, work closely with global process owners and ensure all financial accounting activities in PRTP process are executed effectively and efficiently with appropriate controls and end to end view

  • This tower will be the key customer for CBS Finance, and will work in close partnership with Tax, Treasury, CSSP, RMS and other BU functions, internal and external auditors.

  • Work closely with CBS Finance and global process owners to build capabilities for executing financial accounting processes at appropriate place which allows Cargill leveraging its size and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of finance organization.

  • Holds self and team accountable for delivering results, and driving the continuous improvement of finance activities; collaborating across business, functions, and enterprises.

  • Aligns with internal control systems that provide effective and efficient operations; reliable financial reporting; and compliance with laws, regulations and corporate policies.

  • Champion efforts to ensure controls and compliance measures are in place related to PTP process

  • Manages engagements with internal and external auditors, and ensures issues are resolved. Partners with other accounting and finance leads to ensure alignment of processes and strategies.

Essential Functions/Requirements:

  • Possess experiences on PRTR process.

  • Knowledge and familiarity with work performed in shared services as defined by the service catalog.

  • Critical ability to deal with large level of ambiguity and large scale change

Education, Experience, Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or higher.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with relevant experience is a plus.

  • Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience in finance operation work with deep expertise in Procure to Pay (PRTP) and related Finance processes.

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous management experience

  • Experience in performing shared service operations

  • Proven ability to drive discipline and process orientation in a large complex organization

  • Self-starter with strong analytical, problem solving skills and initiative to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Strong prioritization skills handling multiple priorities.
