Job location: Schiphol, Amsterdam.

Travel: up to 40%.

The IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Advisor is part subject matter expert and part execution engine supporting the CAN (Cargill Animal Nutrition) Enterprise global implementation of its IBP process. Well-versed in end-to-end Integrated Supply Chain Management with a focus in Supply Chain Planning (SCP) processes, the IBP Advisor will help lead execution of projects to improve our planning capability at the business level and harmonize those business capabilities with Cargill global standards.

The IBP Advisor will be expected to influence across all levels of the organization to achieve core capability objectives.

Major tasks:

60% Projects - Business engagement work

  • Operate as project manager while executing IBP deployment projects in different CAN businesses, responsible for timely execution of project(s) and meeting business objectives;

  • Work closely with business execution teams for project implementation;

  • Influence and guide project team members, utilizing corporate playbooks and training to support implementation.

15% Business Capability Change – Assess and Sustain IBP work

  • Help support maturity assessments and sustain process changes by engaging with the businesses both before and after core C-IBP implementation projects;

  • Support the development and delivery of functional training for leadership and embedded planning resources;

  • Measure businesses on change adherence and maturity progression; propose resolution approach in the event of gaps.

15% Capability Excellence – Deep Planning Expertise

  • Maintain deep expertise in a core planning capability;

  • Support development of capability across CAN businesses as required.

10% Corporate Wide Support - Business engagement work

  • Support and influence content development/improvement for corporate planning processes such as Corporate C-IBP.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree (BA/BS) in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance or related function;

  • 7 years of experience in Supply Chain or related function with at least 3 years in Supply Chain Planning;

  • Broad end to end understanding of supply chain planning principles with expertise in specific processes (e.g. Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Inventory Management);

  • Deep expertise in ERP systems; SAP experience preferred;

  • Proven track record of influencing across all levels of the organization;

  • Experience in leading and managing projects across multiple functions / businesses;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
