The position of PRTP Supervisor is responsible for managing the PRTP (Accounts Payable) operational teams within the EMEA Financial Shared Services. The PRTP workstream covers Scan & Capture, Invoice Processing, Payment Processing and Vendor&BU Helpdesk activities This role involves working with FSS Management, the Continuous Improvement team, Cargill business partners and our outsourced services provider.

The position requires knowledge of the end-to-end Procure to Pay process, the ability to lead and develop a team, overseeing decision-making and problem solving, influence and drive change together with stakeholders, monitor and review KPIs and metrics, and lead specific projects to drive efficiency.

Principal Accountabilities

35% People Management:

Responsible for Leading the PRTP team leads and their respective teams. This include: hiring, supervision, performance management, coaching, performance management , career development, and act as a resource for direction, training and guidance. Furthermore the role will be responsible to Communicate FSS goals, coordinates activities between teams, determines appropriate staffing levels, performs report analysis and quarterly team updates, manages relationship with stakeholders.

35% PRTP Operations:

Plan, coordinate and supervise the PRTP operational services provided, in line with the agreed Service Catalogue. Furthermore manages the relationship and services provided by the BPO, in line with master Services Agreement. Monitor and check all PRTP KPI’s to ensure efficiencies in line with regulatory requirements and Cargill’s internal control policies and procedures.

Supports the PRTP team Leads in their daily operations.

15% Process improvements:

Develop a culture of process honoring and process improvement within the team.

Act as a PRTP subject matter expert and support the teams with continuous improvement projects.

Coordinates and assists the SAP deployments and JDE migration work for the PRTP processes. Collaborates with the PRTP SME, Super Users and BU’s to facilitate SAP/JDE training and readiness.

15% Migrations:

Coordinate and supervise the SAP deployments and migration work in the PRTP processes. Ensure new/migration activities are executed efficiently and effectively with appropriate training, documentation and controls.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance

  • Min 5 years of experience in the daily supervision or managing a team.

  • Proven leadership of a process focused team, providing coaching and motivation.

  • Min 5 years of experience in the PRTP/AP function.

  • Experience in managing process change within the PRTP area.

  • Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative with a strong accountability and understanding of internal control.

  • Strong team building and conflict resolution skills.

  • Fluent in English, written and oral.

  • Experience of influencing management and key stakeholders.

  • Flexible regarding working patterns and the ability to travel.

  • Experience of working in shared service operations is plus.

  • Experience of process migration and creation of effective process maps and SOPs is a plus

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency with advanced Excel skills

  • Strong ERP system skills in JD Edwards or SAP PRTP processes
