This position is responsible for all aspects of the the creation and maintenance of data required in the Supply Chain function. The responsibilities included in this process are gathering and confirming pertinent information from end users, completing appropriate reports, tracking the progress of daily production, customer or agriculture data, and notifying report users at completion.Understanding the use of data in the business to ensure that the requests are complete, accurate and function as intended is a fundamental responsibility of the position.

Scope of the role includes supply chain operations, systems/data management, reporting, and some analysis.


Entry of complete and correct information into various forms and tools, updates or corrections of tools, and applicable management of business data directly into appropriate tools or spreadsheets. There may be creation of new reports and databases as necessary as well.


Work with business users and support processes to ensure all pertinent information is included and accurate in the data request. This includes understanding all aspects of the data requirements in order to achieve the outcome desired by the user group.


  • May participate on cross-functional teams for the purpose of sharing knowledge and experience, as well as best practices.

  • Works closely with standard contacts within the Agricultural team, Operations, and Cargill Transportation & Logistics (CTL).

  • Uses a basic understanding of supply chain practices and procedures to form strong relationships with the various CJOY functional teams and Cargill partners like CSSP (Cargill Strategic Sourcing & Procurement and CTL (Cargill Transportation Logistics)

  • May participate on cross-functional teams in follow-up, investigation, and documentation of internal and external nonconformances, root causes and corrective actions.



Responsible for documenting changes made and work completed on databases used for tracking. Actively update and maintain business process documentation and job aids.

Perform any other duties as assigned including special projects required by the Business Unit.



  • Associates degree or higher – or equivalent work experience

  • 1-2 years experience in Operations, Sales or Supply Chain

  • Experience in agri/foods business to business environment

Required Qualifications

  • Strong PC skills – Microsoft Office

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

  • Highly detail oriented

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to perform under time pressure

  • Process & task oriented

  • Ability to work effectively in a strong interactive team environment

  • Ability to travel 1-2 times year as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • ERP experience (as a user)

  • Self-directed: able to prioritize workload and manage time effectively

  • Experience in process improvement
