Position Purpose:

This position is part of the IMDS team for APU and Andean region, as follows APU (Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay) and Andean (Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Dominican Republic and USA-AMG) and Chile.

While interacting with Enterprises, the position is responsible for delivering financial analysis and budget that enhances decision making anticipating risk or highlighting opportunities while developing and implementing efficient processes to achieve it. It has also information on management reporting and analysis which may include forecasting/commentary, budget business support, product profitability analysis and cost analysis – as examples.

This position requires strong financial, people leadership, business acumen, data management expertise, influencing, communication, negotiation and change management skills.

It can be focused on different Enterprises at the same time or in some according to the need of the sub-region (CAN, FIBI and CASC) always maintaining a cross and strategic perspective.

It is seen as the expert and a reference in the area, helping the direct supervisor of the group in coordination of some activities.

Principal Accountabilities:

1: MANAGEMENT REPORTING, ANALYSIS AND FORECASTING - 30%

Demonstrate strong financial management skills to analyze and evaluate financial data and statements and articulate it to business leaders, so that they can take efficient decisions.

Ensure that financial and management reporting and analysis of business performance (KPIs, Metrics) are timely and accurately presented to business

Identify and communicate financial risks and impacts or opportunities, through information/data analysis, and give visibility/solutions for the Business leaders in a timely manner.

Partner with FP&A, A&F leaders, and CBS to identify prepare possible metrics to monitor businesses

Manage the budget/Forecasting process with the different stakeholders in order to help ensure an accurate budget/forecast output.

2: CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT - 30%

Identify and help implement best practices across businesses on processes, technology, reporting and timelines to reduce time, effort and risk while helping focus on insightful business outputs.

Help to drive consistency across businesses to improve efficiency and avoid duplication of efforts while bringing value.

Continuous focus and constant evolution on processes and tool efficiencies.

Find business synergies and share it across.

3- BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP - 40%

Provide ongoing financial expertise and information to the leadership team and other business teams

Properly communicate changes/decisions to the business and negotiate priorities in order to ensure the proper level of focus, efficient processes, support and outputs.

Work closely with business leaders, A&F, Finance COEs and FP&A team to achieve finance objectives.

Build strong and trustful partnership with business leaders and other functional teams to ensure the ongoing development of financial/management support.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications - Technical

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience in leadership position

  • Broad/diverse commercial knowledge with understanding of how all areas come together and operate as a business

  • Proven accounting/finance leadership with strong analytical skills

  • Highly effective people leadership skills which motivates for high performance

  • Demonstrated change agility

  • Experience leveraging financial and business systems to monitor business activities and aid in decision making

  • Ability to communicate, influence and build trust across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity.

  • Ability to travel up to 30%

  • English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding and experience working with JDE, SAP, and Lynx
