Description

COFS (Customer Operations and Facility Support) is a regional structure embedded within CASC SA that provides administrative support to Country Stations, Plants, Ports and CRT (Cargill River Transportation)

  • The person in this position will be responsible to ensure that a program for controls review (i.e. mini-audit, physical security) is in place for Country Stations, Processing Plants (crushing, refineries, packaging and biodiesel) and Ports in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay (APU) to protect company’s property and products against theft, fraud, etc. Such a program will also be designed to assist in minimizing business interruptions.

  • Responsible for execute a program of Procedure and Instructions update annually.

  • Be a champion of Cargill policies and procedures, from the CASC SA Group, CASC Enterprise as well as Global Security.

  • Developing an excellent inter personal relation in order to gain credibility and influence, to partner with Regional COFS Leads and team, Operation and Commercial teams.

  • Be a promotor of Guiding Principles.

60% Audit Program:

  • Collaborate designing a homogeneous Audit Strategy and a mini audit program for COFS domain.

  • Coordinate and execute the Audit program for all APU region. Update Audit Program material and documents.

  • Maintain updated the selected Audit system. Propose improvements and assist IT projects in order to keep the system functional.

  • Validated, document and communicate audit findings/results with COFS Leads. Coordinate implementation of prioritized action plans. Identify and apply audit best practices.

  • Assist Auditors during Corporate Audit visits.

  • Collaborate implementing a Physical Security Strategy with a regional perspective in alignment with CSMs (Country Security Manager).

30% Procedure Update Program:

  • Coordinate the implementation of a Procedure Update Program following the selected methodology for APU region.

  • Collaborate with Procedure and Instruction owners guiding them in the selected methodology.

  • Prioritize and review the most critical Procedures and Instructions within COFS domain.

  • Design and keep updated a Procedure and Instruction repository.

10% Training Program:

  • Design and deliver audit and procedure programs trainings in coordination with COFS Leads.

  • Assess and deliver training needs to auditors.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance or Accounting or Administrative.

  • Experience 4 years on finance / control / risk assessment or related field.

  • Ability to interact/influence people in the organization and facilitate win/win solution.

  • Ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable plans.

  • Ability to identify problems and resolve conflicts.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Total commitment and passion for internal control and processes.

  • Autonomy and accountability.

  • Intermediate level of English.

  • Availability to travel within the Region up to 30% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on leading projects.

  • Intermediate level of Portuguese.
