Position Purpose:

This position will work across the US Cargill Feed & Nutrition business - to execute on Master Data setup and maintenance. The role requires a skilled Analyst who will manage and execute the business data requirements, which requires close partnering with all business functions and shared services.

The Data Analyst – Associate is responsible for Master Data creation and maintenance. In addition, they will be responsible for on-going Master Data accuracy/quality and ensuring enterprise and local data policies are communicated and enforced. They will also be responsible for analyzing BU data, configurations, and metrics to identify data and/or process improvement opportunities.

Principal Accountabilities:

60% Data Setup & Maintenance: Create new or modify existing Master Data through the CRUD workflow portal. Execute Master Data setup/configuration for Materials, Quality Management, Operations, Customer, Packaging, Plants, Vendors, Bill of Materials, etc.

20% Data Governance & Quality: Monitor overall health of our BU data. Perform cleansing of Master Data.

10% Business Partnering: Partner with Functional Leaders to ensure data processes and procedures are followed and completed

10% Process Improvement: Identification of data and or process opportunities via audits and metrics/trending.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR in lieu of the degree 2 years of business experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong MS Excel skills: Functions, pivot tables, simple formulas

  • 3 years of NIS experience or other ERP system
