Working for Cargill’s European Protein business who are a leading supplier of food products to retail, foods service and food manufacturing customers in both European and global markets.
The position holder will provide professional accounting support for a minimum of a 6 month contract. This role will have direct influence on the company’s balance sheet, Selling, General and Administrative (SGA) expenses reporting, liaising closely with our shared service center and the broader business.
Perform tasks related to month end including: close, journal entry, balance sheet approval, intercompany reporting and other required activities
Manage and provide financial support and analysis around CPE Selling, General and Administrative (SGA) expense reporting activity
Establish and maintain efficient financial controls through the transition period
Co-ordinate and liaise between local audit representatives during annual audits
Qualified or part-qualified through any of the following accounting bodies: ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA
Proven experience working in finance
Effective organisational skills, including time-management, prioritisation
Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups)
Experience of SAP essential
Previous experience with financial reporting
Self-Starter who works well with minimal supervision.
